Advoy Inc. ("Company" or "we") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide to the Company’s mobile application, tablet application, technology platform, and website including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through such application, website, or platform (collectively, "Advoy") and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

This policy applies to information we collect:

  • On Advoy;
  • In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and Advoy.

It does not apply to information collected by:

  • Us offline or through any other means, including on any other website, application, platform, etc. operated by Company or any third party; or 
  • Any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on Advoy.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated within our Terms & Conditions.  By checking your acceptance of our Terms & Condition, you accept this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use Advoy. 

Information Covered by this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy only applies to personal information (as defined below).  This policy excludes the following categories of information:

  • Publicly available information from government records.
  • Deidentified or aggregate consumer information.

Personal Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It

We collect several types of information from and about Advoy users, including information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer, household, or device ("personal information").   In particular, Advoy may collect the following categories of non-personal and personal information (note: some information may overlap in multiple categories:)

We collect the information detailed above:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us or with your consent e.g. when you create an account with us and answer questions pursuant to our quizzes.
  • Automatically as you navigate through Advoy including traffic data, location data, and other communication data. Information collected automatically may also include usage details, details of your visit to Advoy, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies.

The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include:

  • Cookies (or browser cookies). A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of Advoy. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to Advoy. 
  • Flash Cookies. Certain features of Advoy may use local stored objects (or Flash cookies) to collect and store information about your preferences and navigation to, from, and on Advoy. Flash cookies are not managed by the same browser settings as are used for browser cookies.
  • Web Beacons. Pages on Advoy and our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity). 

How We Use Your Personal Information

We may use, or disclose the personal information we collect for one or more of the following purposes: 

  • To deliver our products and services.
  • To fulfill or meet the reason you provided the information. For example, to register clocking in and clocking out events using face recognition technology. 
  • To provide, support, personalize, and develop Advoy.
  • To process your requests and transactions.
  • To create, maintain, customize, and secure your account with us.  
  • To provide you with support and to respond to your inquiries, including to investigate and address your concerns and monitor and improve our responses.
  • To send targeted messages to users.
  • To market our products and services.
  • To help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of Advoy.
  • For testing, research, analysis, and product development, including to develop and improve Advoy.
  • To respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations.

Disclosure Sharing, and the (Non)Sale of Your Personal Information

We may share your personal information by disclosing it to a third party for a business purpose, such as our service providers.  Our service providers include Google LLC (Google) and Meta Platforms (Facebook).  

  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our services.
  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties for payment purposes.
  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it. For example, if you consent to the sharing of your profile and/or analytics to a learning institution.
  • For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
  • With your consent.  For example, with your consent, we will share your personal information with third parties to send you promotional emails.
  • To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.

Google OAuth Data Usage

1. Access and Collection of Data:
Our application integrates with Google via OAuth, primarily accessing Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads accounts. This integration facilitates:

  • Simplified user login, enhancing the user experience and security.
  • Collation of business analytics data to present a comprehensive dashboard within our platform.

2. Data Utilization:

  • Personalization: We leverage the data obtained to personalize and streamline the dashboard experience for our users, ensuring relevant and customized content delivery.
  • Automation: Our platform integrates with Google Ads, enabling us to automate specific tasks, optimizing advertising operations for our users.

3. Data Storage:
Google user data collected by our platform is securely stored in our databases, employing stringent security measures and encryption to safeguard your data.

4. Data Sharing:
The data is exclusively shared with the associated agencies responsible for service delivery. This sharing is imperative for these agencies to gain insights and accordingly strategize their services. We strictly ensure that this data isn't shared beyond these agencies or used for any other undisclosed purposes.

5. Compliance with Google's Limited Use Policy:
Our application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs strictly adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we treat our users' personal information, we will notify you. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page.
